Trinity College Campus Accommodation : Official Congress Venue

Trinity College campus accommodation is perfectly located for both the congress and as a base to explore Dublin’s city centre. The conference centre is located less than a 2 minute walk from the different accommodation options and Grafton Street and O’Connell St are located 3 and 5 minutes walk respectively.

Apartment Accommodation – Botany Bay & Front Square Buildings
Located in historic parts of campus and recently renovated, the apartments have two or three single bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen / livingroom. The kitchen is suitable for tea/coffee making facilities & light catering.  All bedrooms have individual locks. While the bathroom is shared in these apartments they are modern and comfortable and the superior accommodation option within the Trinity Campus. Wifi internet access is available in Front Square at a cost of €15 for the duration of stay. There is no internet access in Botany Bay.
€ 80 per single room per night.

Ensuite Single Accommodation – Pearse Street Building
Accommodation consist of a basic single-bedded room with own private bathroom equipped with shower, toilet & wash basin. All rooms have access to a shared kitchen for tea/coffee making facilities & light catering. There is no internet access in this building.
€ 80 per room per night.

Ensuite Twin Accommodation – Graduate Memorial Building
Located in historic parts of campus, this accommodation consist of rooms with twin beds (2 single beds), own private bathroom equipped with shower, toilet & wash basin. All rooms have access to a shared kitchen for tea/coffee making facilities & light catering. Wifi internet access in available at a cost of €15 for the duration of stay.
€ 105 per room per night.

Please note: While the standard of accommodation is excellent, this is campus accommodation and thus some services are limited. Linen and towel change is weekly and hairdryers and TVs are not provided in the rooms.

All rooms are inclusive of continental breakfast which is served in Buttery Restaurant.

Not all room types are wheelchair accessible so should you have accessibility requirements, please contact the congress secretariat prior to booking.

The Alexander Hotel – Recommended Speakers Hotel

The Alexander Hotel is located at the corner of Fenian Street and Clare Street, literally a two minute walk from the back gates of Trinity College and a 10 minute walk to the congress centre.
This excellent 4-star hotel is beautifully appointed with large bay windows, spacious lobby and a stone round tower facade. The hotel fills with light and is bright and airy.
The guest rooms have recently been refurbished and include luxury touches like cashmere bed throws and plasma TVs. Wifi access is available in the bedrooms at a cost of €12 for 24 hours.

Christchurch Hall Apartments 

Offering spacious accommodation, within 10 minutes walk of Trinity College and located in the historic area of Christchurch.

1 Bed Apartments
These apartments consist of one double room with a sofa bed available in the living area and can accommodate up to 3 adults.

2 Bed Apartments
These apartments consist of one double room, one twin room and a sofa bed in the living area, as such they can accommodate up to 5 adults, a truly cost effective accommodation solution.
€129 per apartment per night

Holiday Inn – Pearse Street

Holiday Inn Pearse Street is located in the city centre, less than a 15 minute walk from Trinity College and Grafton Street. The hotel’s Green Bistro and Bar offers a full menu throughout the day and the hotel’s location means Dublin’s choice of bars, restaurants and shopping is just a few minutes walk away.
All rooms are ensuite with cable television with movie channels, hairdryer, trouser press, ironing boards and tea and coffee facilities. Wifi access is available at a cost of €3 for 20 minutes or €14.95 for 24 hours.

Grand Canal Hotel

The 3-star Grand Canal Hotel is located on Upper Grand Canal Street, Ballsbridge.

Opposite Grand Canal Dock Dart Station, this contemporary Dublin hotel offers a convenient and welcoming base for those wishing to enjoy Dublin City Centre. The hotel is approximately a 15 minute walk from Trinity College conference centre (Arts Block).

All rooms are ensuite and there is complimentary wifi available throughout the hotel. Free Secure parking is available to all residents.

Trinity Capital Hotel

The 3-star Trinity Capital Hotel has a good location just 6 minutes walk to the conference centre and approximately 12 minutes from Trinity Technology and Enterprise Centre, the location of the Crystallization Workshop.

The hotel was completely refurbished in 2007 and has an eclectic mix or opulent furniture, wall coverings and fabric throughout. Café Cairo is open all day and offers light snack, coffee and cocktails.

Bedrooms are all ensuite with high speed internet access (costing €20 for 24 hours) and laptop safe.

Lansdowne Hotel

The 3-star Lansdowne Hotel is located in Georgian Dublin about a 23 minute walk along Baggot Street and Dawson Street to Trinity College conference centre (Arts Block). The hotel is located just off Upper Baggot Street which is home to a selection of very popular bars and restaurants.

Druids restaurant is open for breakfast daily and The Den bar offers an extensive bar food menu. The Den features a unique collection of sport memorabilia and the largest rugby tie collection in the world. Bedrooms are equipped with cable TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
